Overview

5-7-inch-tft-display-640x480-vga-resistive-touch01.png

The 5.7 inch display module that keeps working where consumer screens fail — wide temperature, gloves, and the shop floor. The Kingtech PV05717Y0133T-R is a proven industrial display with reliable touch input built in: a 5.7 inch TFT module with 640×480 VGA resolution, an integrated 4-wire resistive touch panel and an RGB 18-bit interface, rated to operate from -30°C to +80°C. It pairs a TN transmissive panel with a resistive touch screen, so operators can interact with gloves on, in oil or moisture — without the palm-rejection issues that plague capacitive touch. Engineered for industrial HMI, medical instruments, test & measurement equipment and outdoor terminals, it is the practical choice for products that need a display that keeps performing when the environment gets demanding — cold starts, hot enclosures, and gloved hands included.

It is designed for OEM integration: an RGB 18-bit parallel interface for direct MCU/FPGA/ARM drive, a wide temperature range of -30°C to +80°C for unheated factories, cold-chain and outdoor enclosures, and a standard 5.7" industrial footprint (144.0 × 104.6 × 13.9 mm) that drops into existing VGA designs. This is not a bare display repackaged — it's an integrated LCD + resistive touch module with a 33-pin interface, ready for your mainboard.

Product Feature

True Wide Temperature — Rated for Real Environments Rated -30°C ~ +80°C for both operating and storage — a 110°C span. No cold-start blackout in unheated factories, winter field cabinets or cold-chain equipment; no contrast washout in hot enclosures. One SKU covers environments where standard -20°C ~ +70°C panels are borderline.

Glove-Friendly Resistive Touch — Built for the Shop Floor The integrated 4-wire resistive touch (Film + Glass + FPC) registers through thick work gloves, oil films and water droplets — any stylus or fingertip works. Rated for ≥1,000,000 tap cycles and ≥100,000 stroke cycles with 3H surface hardness and 50–120 g operation force.

640×480 VGA — The Industrial 4:3 Classic 5.7" VGA is the long-lived workhorse of industrial display. Upgrading an existing product? Keep your enclosure and firmware — swap in a module built on a footprint that follows the standard 5.7" VGA format, with the supply longevity industrial programs need.

RGB 18-bit Interface — Deterministic, Bridge-Free RGB 18-bit parallel with sync and DE modes, driven directly from an MCU, FPGA, ARM SoC or CPLD — no video bridge, no application processor, no Linux. The REV pin reverses horizontal/vertical scan direction for portrait or inverted mounting without firmware changes.

Clear Readability — 370 nits, 21-LED Backlight 370 cd/m² typical brightness (300 cd/m² min.) from a 21-LED backlight (3S-7P, 9.6 V / 140 mA). TN transmissive, normally white panel with 12 o'clock viewing direction keeps text and graphics crisp in machine control UIs.

Built for OEM Integration & Long Supply Standard industrial footprint: 144.0 × 104.6 × 13.9 mm module, 115.2 × 86.4 mm active area, 33-pin interface with separate 2-pin backlight connector. Manufactured in IATF16949 / ISO13485 / ISO9001 certified facilities with 99% yield. Custom FPC, connector orientation and brightness variants available for volume projects.

FAQ

Q1: Why choose a resistive touch panel on a 5.7 inch display module?

A: 4-wire resistive touch works where capacitive fails — thick work gloves, oil, water droplets and dirt. It also delivers high reliability (≥1,000,000 tap cycles) at a lower cost per module, which matters for industrial programs with hundreds of units per line.

Q2: What is the actual operating temperature range?

A: -30°C to +80°C for both operating and storage — a 110°C span. This covers unheated factories, cold-chain environments and hot outdoor enclosures. If your low-temperature response needs are stricter, share your environment and our engineers will advise.

Q3: Can operators use it with gloves or in wet conditions?

A: Yes — that is the point of the resistive touch. Any non-conductive glove, stylus or fingertip registers reliably with 50–120 g operation force, and surface moisture does not cause false touches.

Q4: Will the interface work with my mainboard?

A: The module uses RGB 18-bit parallel with sync and DE modes — directly drivable from MCU, FPGA, ARM SoC or CPLD. The REV pin allows scan-direction reversal for flexible mounting. Timing diagrams and the full 33-pin map are in the datasheet.

Q5: What are the MOQ and lead time?

A: MOQ is 1 piece for evaluation; standard lead time is ~31 days for 1–10,000 pcs. Larger programs are quoted individually.

Q6: Does it work in cold environments?

A: Operating range is -30°C to +80°C. LCD response time slows near the low end of the range — normal TFT behavior, not a defect. Cold starts at -30°C are supported by the specification.
