Standard vertical-alignment panels shift color and lose contrast when viewed off-axis. The iHADS technology in this 18.5 inch LCD open cell delivers 80°~89° viewing angles in all four directions (CR > 10) with low color shift — so a hotel lobby sign, a train station information display or a factory control terminal looks the same from a 60° sideways glance as from straight ahead.

A: An open cell gives you full control over the bezel, housing and mounting — you only pay for the display core (panel + backlight) and integrate the mechanics yourself. It is the standard approach for display makers and high-volume commercial display OEMs. If you prefer a ready-to-mount module, Kingtech can assemble it with touch, bonding and a driver board.

Q2: What makes iHADS different from ordinary LCD technology?

A: iHADS delivers wide viewing angles (80°~89° all directions) with low color shift — colors stay accurate even when the screen is viewed from a sharp angle. That is critical for commercial displays seen by passing foot traffic, and for control terminals viewed from different operator positions.
